Aberdeen have completed the signing of Dylan McGeouch from Sunderland.
The former Hibernian midfielder has joined the Pittodrie club on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
McGeouch, who completed his medical on Tuesday, will travel with the squad to Dubai for their winter training camp on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old said: “For me the near future is about playing games, enjoying football again at a new club and hopefully do well, bring success for this club.
“Obviously the club has been up there the last few years and we want to do that again, we want to be up near the top of the table but I think cup runs, as well.
“It’s been a mad few days but delighted to finally get up here and get everything sorted.
“I’m looking forward to the future.”
McGeouch left Hibs for Sunderland in 2018 but struggled to retain a regular starting position at the Stadium of Light.
Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes said: “I’m delighted Dylan has joined us, he’s a player I’ve admired for a considerable period.
“I’m looking forward to getting him integrated as part of the squad.
“We’ve struggled with injuries in the midfield and bringing in a player of his ability will reinforce that area of the team and will benefit us greatly.”
