It’s second against third in the Premiership clash on Wednesday night.
The Dons have a chance to go nine points clear of the Ibrox side after ten games of the top-flight season.
But Rangers, who are currently six behind, have a chance to get themselves within three points of the top two.
Thelin, who remains undefeated as Aberdeen boss, starts with Mitov in goals and a back four of Devlin, Rubezic, Molloy and MacKenzie.
Graham Shinnie anchors the midfield beside Nilsen and McGrath with Keskinen and Duk either side of Sokler up top.
Clement has Butland in goals behind Tavernier, Souttar, Balogun and Kasanwirjo with a midfield of Barron, Raskin and Lawrence.
Bajrami and McCausland are supporting Cyriel Dessers who is leading the line for the visitors.
The game kicks-off at 8pm.
League leaders Celtic, who are ahead of Aberdeen on goal-difference, host Dundee at Parkhead with all 12 Premiership teams in action.
