Airdrie’s cinch League 1 meeting with Queen’s Park has been postponed after a Covid outbreak at the Lanarkshire club.
The sides were scheduled to play on Saturday but Airdrie successfully applied for a postponement after being his with a number of positive tests and related close contacts..
The club told the Scottiswh Professional Football League that they did not have enough available players to fulfil the fixture and the league body has agreed to put the game off.
An SPFL spokesman said: “After reviewing the information provided by Airdrieonians, Saturday’s match between Airdrieonians and Queen’s Park has been postponed.
“A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.”
