Andy Murray has split with coach Jamie Delgado but is working with German Jan De Witt ahead of the 2022 season.
Delgado has been part of Murray’s coaching team for the last five years, with the Scot winning his second Wimbledon title in 2016 and becoming world number one. He stepped up to main coach after Ivan Lendl’s departure the following year.
The Englishman will now work with Canadian player Denis Shapalov.
De Witt began working with Murray at the National Tennis Centre last week and will continue a trial oevr the next week as Murray travels to Abu Dhabi to take part in an exhibition event.
The trip is part of Murray’s preparations for the Australian Open next month.
Murray will play Dominic Thiem at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, with a match against Rafael Nadal if he beats Thiem.
