Andy Robertson and John McGinn are aiming for two significant personal landmarks when Scotland take on Poland in Warsaw.
The national team play their final Nations League group game on Monday with a chance to reach the quarter-finals if they take all three points and Croatia lose to Portugal.
Liverpool left-back Robertson is expected to captain the side again and, unless he picks up a late injury, he will make his 80th international appearance and become the joint-third most capped Scotland player of all time.
The skipper is currently on 79 with only Kenny Dalglish (102), Jim Leighton (91) and Darren Fletcher (80) ahead of him on the list.
So if he plays in Warsaw he will go joint with Fletcher as the second most capped outfield Scotland player of all time behind Dalglish.
And at 30 years old, he should still have a few more years ahead of him to potentially move up even higher on the list.
Meanwhile John McGinn, who is currently joint-fifth on the all-time scoring charts for Scotland, can move ahead of Ally McCoist if he gets on the scoresheet against Poland.
The Aston Villa star would also move two behind Hibernian legend Lawrie Reilly if he finds the net in Warsaw.
Dalglish also tops that list alongside legendary Manchester United forward Denis Law on 30 goals each for their country.
Behind them is Hughie Gallagher (24), Reilly (22) with McGinn and McCoist currently joint in fifth place on 19 goals each.
Like Robertson, McGinn, who is the only midfielder in the top ten, is also 30 with potentially many years in front of him at international level so could realistically get the six goals that would put him out on his own in third behind only Dalglish and Law.
