Steve Clarke has made four changes to his Scotland team to face Armenia, with captain Andy Robertson out of the Nations League match.

The national team are looking to bounce back from the 3-0 defeat to Republic of Ireland on Saturday, and hoping to end the international break on a positive after a slump in form that also saw the team lose in the World Cup play-offs to Ukraine.

Scotland did beat Armenia at Hampden last week but will face a tougher task in the group match in Yerevan.

Clarke has freshened up his side after a busy schedule, and after saying that he had injuries in the squad to contend with.

Robertson, Scott McKenna and John Souttar all missed the trip through injury, the Scottish FA confirmed.

Greg Taylor, Billy Gilmour, Stuart Armstrong and Nathan Patterson come into the team, with Robertson, Ryan Christie, McKenna and Anthony Ralston all dropping out.

Craig Gordon continues in goal behind a back three of Scott McTominay, Grant Hanley and Jack Hendry.

Taylor is on the left flank, with Patterson on the right, and Gilmour and Callum McGregor in a midfield pairing.

John McGinn and Armstrong play behind Che Adams in attack.
