Scotland will be without midfielders Caroline Weir and Lucy Graham when they face Hungary and Faroe Islands later this months.
Both players have been ruled out of the World Cup qualifiers, prompting call-ups for Rangers attacker Lizzie Arnot and Hibernian midfielder Rachael Boyle.
Friday’s match in Hungary on Friday will be the first fro new Scotland boss Pedro Martinez Losa, who has already had to name his squad without Kim Little, who announced her retirement from international football.
The matches are the first in qualification for World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand, with Scotland hoping to reach the finals after missing out on making the European Championships.
Spain and Ukraine are the top seeds in the five-team group, with the winners automatically reaching the finals.
The runners-up will compete in play-offs with two direct entries or a place in an inter-continental play-off at stake.
