Lewis Morgan could make a sensational move to David Beckham’s Inter Miami side after Celtic accepted a substantial six figure bid from the newly formed MLS club.
Morgan, who joined the champions from St Mirren two years ago, has left the club’s winter break training base in Dubai to mull over the potential move with his family.
STV understands the offer Celtic have accepted is considerably more than the £250,000 they paid the Saints in January 2018.
Morgan joined Celtic from St Mirren after impressing in the Championship but was instantly loaned back to the Paisley club and then had a second loan spell out at Sunderland.
On his return to Celtic he failed to secure a regular starting slot but was used in some key games, including as a makeshift centre forward during Odsonne Edouard’s absence.
The Scotland international has made 31 appearances for Celtic, with 20 coming off the bench. He’s scored twice for the champions, against Rennes and AIK.
