The full fixture list for the new Premiership season has been published with top flight clubs learning their first opponents.

Champions Celtic unfurl the league flag and then face Aberdeen at home on Sunday July 31, with rivals Rangers away to Livingston a day earlier.

The Glasgow sides meet for the first time at Celtic Park on the weekend of September 3.

Newly promoted Kilmarnock kick off their Premiership campaign with a home match against Dundee United.

Hearts are at home on opening weekend when they face Ross County, while Hibernian are on the road, facing St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.

St Mirren’s home game against Motherwell completes the first round of fixtures, with that match likely to be moved to the Sunday if the visitors have a European tie on the Thursday night ahead of the game.

The first Edinburgh derby is on the second weekend of the season with hibs and Hearts meeting at Easter Road.

The league season kicks off on July 30 but has a break this season to allow for the Qatar World Cup. The Premiership will pause after 16 rounds of fixtures on November 12 and resume again on December 17.

The league will split into top and bottom six after the 33rd round of fixtures on the weekend of April 22, with the final matches of the regular season taking place on May 27 and 28.

This season’s Premiership play-off final first leg is on June 1 with the return match three days later.
