Celtic have been crowned champions of Scotland for the 2024/25 season after a commanding victory over Dundee United.
The Hoops secured the Premiership title for a fourth consecutive season with a 5-0 win at Tannadice on Saturday.
It is also their 55th time as champions and 19th league triumph since the turn of the millennium 25 years ago.
Celtic arrived in Tayside knowing a point would be enough to get them over the line in a season when they have led the way at the top of the table since the first weekend of the campaign.
And they wasted no time in making sure the party wouldn’t be delayed longer as they brushed United aside with relative ease.
They opened the scoring through a Ryan Strain own goal on the half hour mark before Nicolas Kuhn added a double to make it 3-0 at half-time.
Adam Idah then grabbed a brace of his own after the break to make it 5-0 and get the party started.
It was the third game in a row that Celtic scored five goals as they raced over the finish line in spectacular style.
They have also now crashed through the 100-goal barrier in the league this season and are just one more win away from a historic ninth domestic treble when they take on Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final next month.
