Celtic have been drawn to play Ferencvaros or Djurgarden in Champions League qualifying, if they get past KR Reykjavik.
UEFA held the draw for the second qualifying round on Monday, with the Scottish champions learning they will face the Hungarian or Swedish champions on August 25/26.
Neil Lennon’s side are scheduled to be at home in the one-legged tie, if they beat KR Reykjavik next week.
However, confirmation that the matches can be played at Celtic Park will have to be given by the Scottish Government.
Celtic are favourites to get past the Icelandic side as they aim to make the group stages and would find themselves in the same position against either team in the second round.
Ferencvaros reached the Europa League group stage last season, finishing third in their group behind Espanyol and Ludogorets Razgrad. They won the Hungarian title by 13 points to go into Champions League qualifying this time around.
Djurgarden are currently fourth in their domestic league after beating Malmo to the title by a point las season.
The draw for the first qualifying round of the Europa League also took place, with Aberdeen and Motherwell learning their opposition.
Aberdeen will be at home to either NSI Runavik of the Faroe Islands or Welsh side Barry Town United.
Motherwell are also at home, playing the winner of the preliminary round game between Glentoran and HB Torshavn.
The Europa League games are scheduled to be played on August 27.
