Eboue Kouassi has left Celtic to join KRC Genk on loan until the end of the season.
The Belgian club announced the deal has been completed after Kouassi trained with the club and underwent a medical.
Genk have said that the terms of the deal include an option to buy the player at the end of his loan.
The 22-year-old defensive midfielder signed for Celtic three years ago from Krasnodar.
Though highly-rated at the time of his move, Kouassi failed to make an impression on the first team and only made a handful of appearances during his time in Glasgow.
The transfer is the latest move as Celtic look to move on some fringe players ahead of the second half of the season. Jack Hendry has signed a loan deal with Melbourne City, while Lewis Morgan is expected to complete a switch to Inter Miami.
