Celtic to be given full stand at Ibrox for Scottish Cup Old Firm clash against RangersSNS Group

Around 7,500 Celtic fans will be at Ibrox to watch their side take on Rangers in the Scottish Cup, STV Sport understands.

The Hoops support will be in the Broomloan Road Stand as they face their rival in the competition’s quarter-finals on March 8.

The Parkhead club pushed for the full 20% allocation at Ibrox Stadium; however, it is understood that the request was denied.

The Scottish Football Association has granted around 7,500 tickets for the away side. Since 2018, both clubs have offered the minimum away allocation possible during league games.

For a period, away supporters were banned from attending Old Firm games after missiles were thrown onto the pitch.

This changed in 2024 when clubs agreed to give around 4% of their ground to the travelling support.

The Scottish Cup rules allow the away team to claim up to one-fifth of the stadium’s capacity at the quarter-final stage.
