Premiership leaders Celtic and second-placed Aberdeen will clash in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final, with Motherwell facing Rangers for a place in the final.
The draw was made at Celtic Park after the hosts fought back from being behind to see off Falkirk in a 5-2 win, setting up a mouthwatering clash at the national stadium.
Both sides have begun the season with flawless records, with Aberdeen’s 12-match winning run putting them just behind the champions in the league table on goal difference.
The teams will meet in early November to compete for a place in the showpiece final. with holders Rangers facing Motherwell as they aim to go on and lift the trophy once again.
Motherwell were the first team to book their place in the final four, defeating Dundee United in dramatic fashion at Fir Park on Friday.
Zach Robinson put the hosts in front but Louis Moult’s goal seven minutes from time looked like sending the teams into extra time.
Motherwell won a penalty in injury time and teenage sensation Lennon Miller stepped up to score and put his side in the semi-finals.
Aberdeen have put together an impressive run of form under new manager Jimmy Thelin, with the Swede yet to taste defeat in Scotland. The Dons cruised to a 4-0 win over The Spartans in their quarter-final with goals from Pape Habib Gueye, Kevin Nisbet, Leighton Clarkson and Ester Sokler.
Rangers enjoyed their return to Ibrox with a 3-0 win over fellow Premiership side Dundee.
Cyriel Dessers scored twice, netting either side of a James Tavernier penalty to send the holders to Hampden to continue their defence of the trophy.
Semi-final ties will be played on the weekend of November 2/3.
