Brendan Rodgers and Stephen Robinson have named their starting line-ups for the Celtic vs St Mirren clash in the Premiership.

The Hoops have a chance to go four points clear of Rangers at the top of the table if they can get a victory in their last game before the split on Saturday afternoon.

They are currently one point clear of Philippe Clement’s side, who also have a game in hand, following last week’s 3-3 draw at Ibrox.

Rangers will be back in action when they take on Ross County on Sunday before playing Dundee in the fixture that has been rescheduled twice on Wednesday.

The visitors, who haven’t won in their last five league games, have already secured their place in the top-six and are now aiming for European football next season.

They go into the game five points behind fourth placed Kilmarnock, who take on St Johnstone, and four ahead of Dundee who have a game in hand.

Tony Docherty’s men travel to Aberdeen on Saturday knowing a win will cement their place in the top-half but the winner of Hibernian and Motherwell could leapfrog them if they lose at Pittodrie.

Elsewhere third placed Hearts take on bottom side Livingston at Tynecastle.

Brendan Rodgers is without forward Daizen Maeda, who has suffered a hamstring injury, and Liam Scales for the visit of the Saints.

Callum McGregor remains on the bench as he continues his comeback from injury.

So Celtic start with Joe Hart in goals and a back four of Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Maik Nawrocki and Greg Taylor.

Tomoki Iwata is in midfield beside Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley with Nicolas Kuhn and Yang playing either side of Kyogo Furuhashi up top.

Robinson is without on-loan midfielder Kwon who is unable to play against his parent club.

St Mirren start with Zach Hemming in goals behind Alex Gogic, Marcus Fraser, Richard Taylor, Scott Tanser, Elvis Bwomono, Keanu Baccus, Caolan Boyd-Munce, Mark O’Hara, Greg Kiltie and Toyosi Olusanya.
