The Scottish champions are winners of the trophy for the 43rd time after running out 3-1 winners over the Pars at the national stadium.

Goals from Daizen Maeda, Arne Engels and Kelechi Iheanacho sealed the victory for Celtic, with a consolation strike for Dunfermline from Josh Cooper.

Martin O’Neill has secured a double one week after beating Hearts to the Scottish Premiership title in dramatic fashion at Celtic Park.

Dunfermline boss Neil Lennon has lost out to his former manager Martin O’Neill, having been signed by the Hoops icon for both Celtic and Leicester City during his playing days.

It remains to be seen whether Martin O’Neill has managed his final game for Celtic.
