Charlie Mulgrew has taken on his first senior managerial job after being appointed as the new Kelty Hearts boss.
Mulgrew had quickly been appointed as successor to Michael Tidser, who left the club to take charge at Dunfermline Athletic on Friday.
The 38-year-old, who played for Celtic, Aberdeen, Dundee United and Blackburn Rovers as well as earning 44 Scotland caps, had previously been working as Hamilton’s Under-18s coach as well as working in the media as a pundit.
He won five league titles and two Scottish Cups as a player but will now turn his attention to Kelty Hearts’ promotion push, with the team currently third in League 1.
Kelty Hearts sporting director said: “We are excited to announce the new management team of Charlie Mulgrew and Mark Kerr.
“Both fit the model of the club perfectly, and we are looking forward to see the impact they will have on our journey.
“Let’s give them a warm welcome to New Central Park, All the best”
