Christy Grimshaw has been named in the Scotland squad for next month’s World Cup play-offs following her return from injury.
The 26-year-old AC Milan midfielder last played for her country in February as she has been sidelined since early April.
Having returned to action with her club earlier this month, Grimshaw has been recalled by Scotland coach Pedro Martinez Losa for the crucial showdown with Austria at Hampden on 6 October.
If the Scots win that match they will host Republic of Ireland five days later.
Aston Villa forward Kirsty Hanson is also included in the 25-strong squad after overcoming the injury that has kept her out of recent Scotland selections.
