Craig Gordon has signed for Hearts, returning to Tynecastle 13 years after leaving the Edinburgh side.
The 54-times-capped goalkeeper was a free agent after leaving Celtic and has now signed a two-year deal for new manager Robbie Neilson’s side.
Gordon began his career with Hearts, coming through the club’s academy before rising to fame as the club’s number one and winning international recognition.
He won the Scottish Cup during his first spell at the club and his performances earned him a move to Sunderland in 2007, with the English side paying £9m for his signature.
A serious knee injury blighted his time with the club and he left at the end of his contract.
After two years without a club, Gordon began training with Celtic and was helped back to full fitness. He signed a permanent deal and went on to win six league titles, five League Cups and three Scottish Cups.
The 37-year old lost his place in the side last season and rejected a contract offer from the Parkhead club.
He published a farewell message to Celtic fans on social media on Sunday before rejoining Hearts.
