Rangers manager Michael Beale has made three changes to his side for the Champions League qualifier against Servette.

The teams meet at Ibrox for the first leg of the third qualifying round tie, with the winner facing PSV or Strum Graz in the next round with a place in the group stages at stake.

Beale and his side are looking to bounce back from defeat to Kilmarnock in their first Premiership match and the Rangers boss has made key changes to his team.

Brazilian striker Danilo, who joined the club from Feyenoord this summer, replaces Abdallah Sima in the forward line, while Ryan Jack and Todd Cantwell replace John Lundstram and Kieran Dowell in midfield.

Rangers start with Jack Butland in goal, behind an unchanged back four of Borna Barisic, Connor Goldson, John Souttar and captain James Tavernier.

Jack and Cantwell join Nicolas Raskin in midfield, with Danilo playing in attack alongside Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers.

Beale has said that he anticipates a tough match at Ibrox against a team that impressed him when he watched them in action last week.

The Swiss side took their place in the third round by defeating Belgian side Genk in a dramatic tie that saw Servette win on penalties after playing most of the second leg with ten men.

ā€œThe games at this level are always tough,ā€ he said. ā€œI watched Servette play against Genk and the mentality that they showed was absolutely outstanding.

ā€œWe know weā€™ve got a tough opponent and weā€™re not looking any further than this game right now.

ā€œTo qualify again, financially for the club, would be very good and thatā€™s obvious. Thatā€™s our aim. We know weā€™re guaranteed group stage football regardless, but at the moment we canā€™t look any further than the first leg and making sure we get a positive resultā€
