The SPFL has confirmed the dates and times of the Premier Sports Cup quarter-finals, with games taking place across the weekend of September 20-22.
Thee days of action begin with Friday night football and an all-Premiership tie as Motherwell host Dundee United at Fir Park on September 20, with a kick-off time of 7.45pm.
Premier Sports Cup holders Rangers face in-form Dundee on Saturday September 21 at 5.30pm. The venue for that game will be confirmed in due course, with Rangers currently based at Hampden due to delays in construction work at Ibrox.
There’s a second Saturday game as The Spartans, who managed the shock of the second round with a win over Ross County, travel to Pittodrie to take on an Aberdeen side that’s impressed so far under new manager Jimmy Thelin.
Celtic and Falkirk complete the quarter-final line-up when they meet in Glasgow on Sunday, September 22. The teams clash at 3pm at Celtic Park, with the semi-final draw taking place after full-time.
