Dundee have signed former Manchester United youth player Ethan Hamilton from Lincoln for an undisclosed fee.
Edinburgh-born Hamilton returns to Scottish football 11 years after leaving Hutchison Vale for United as a 15-year-old.
Hamilton made more than 200 appearances in England’s League One with Rochdale, Southend, Bolton, Peterborough, Accrington and Lincoln.
The 26-year-old has signed a contract until the summer of 2028 with Steven Pressley’s team.
Hamilton, who won promotion with Peterborough, told Dundee’s website: “I know (Dundee defender) Ryan Astley and he spoke so highly of the club and the people around the club.
“He said that I would love it here and what the manager is building here is really exciting, and it’s something that I couldn’t wait to be part of.
“I’m a high-energy player who will always give my all for the team and I’ll hopefully chip in with some goals as well.”
