Dundee have announced the signing of French winger Julien Vetro from Burnley on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old made the move from Bordeaux to the English side, only to immediately be put on loan to continue his development.
Vetro had already been training with Dundee while the moves were finalised and he is ready to go straight into the squad for Saturday’s Premiership match against St Mirren.
The midfielder is a product of Bordeaux’s youth system and made the breakthrough last season to play 15 times for the first time in League 2.
“I am very happy to be here at Dundee Football Club,” Vetro told the club’s official website. “I can’t wait to meet the fans and hopefully we can have good times together.
“I want to contribute this season and help the team do well with goals and assists.”
