Dundee United have signed Finnish goalkeeper Carljohan Eriksson on a two-and-a-half year deal.
Eriksson is a free agent after leaving Swedish side Mjallby AIF and will be registered as a United player, subject to international clearance.
The 26-year-old started his career with HJK Helsinki’s youth academy and played for a number of Finnish teams before moving to Sweden in 2018. He won the Superettan with Mallby a year later and has been in the top flight since, with his perfomaqnces earening international recognition
Eriksson, who has played for his country at every youth level, won his first Finland cap in September last year.
The signing comes a day after United goalkeeper Trevor Carson left the club to join Morecambe until the end of the season.
