John Hughes has been appointed as the new manager of Dunfermline Athletic.
The club confirmed on Friday that Hughes has penned a deal until the summer of 2023.
Dunfermline are currently bottom of the Scottish Championship and without a league win.
He replaces Peter Grant in the job, who was sacked just under two weeks ago.
Former players Greg Shields and Steven Whittaker had been leading the side on an interim basis.
Hughes joins the club having most recently been the manager of Ross County, before leaving in the summer.
He has previously managed Falkirk, Hibernian, Livingston, Hartlepool United, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, and Raith Rovers.
