Hundreds of rugby fans have attended a live match for the first time in months as Glasgow Warriors beat Edinburgh at Murrayfield.
No spectators have been allowed to attend any sporting event in Scotland since early March due to the nationwide lockdown.
The test event in the capital seen the 67,000 seat stadium host 700 socially distanced fans.
Glasgow Warrior ran out winners with a convincing 15-3 victory over their Edinburgh rivals.
Large gatherings have been banned since the start of the coronavirus pandemic but the Scottish Government granted permission for a limited number of fans to watch the Pro14 tie on Friday.
A similar request from Celtic however was denied with the government saying they only needed one test-event at this stage.
September 14 has been identified as an indicative date for fans to return to sports stadiums across the country in restricted numbers.
