New Celtic striker Hyoengyu Oh scored his first goal for the club as they beat St Mirren in the Scottish Cup last 16.

The South Korea international came off the bench to score the third in a 5-1 win over the Paisley side in Glasgow.

Japanese duo Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate scored the first two goals as the Hoops eased into the quarter-finals of the only domestic competition they failed to win last season.

Maeda opened the scoring after good work from on-form Australia star Aaron Mooy who got the assist.

Ange Postecoglou’s men are now only one game away from another Hampden showdown as they secured their place in Monday’s draw.

Hatate scored the second from the penalty spot after Richard Taylor was sent off for a handball to block a shot from Abada.

St Mirren scored a consolation after being awarded a penalty of their own in the dying minutes before Matt O’Riley sealed the win with a curling finish from outside the box in injury time.

The strike was the Denmark Under 21 international’s first goal of the season.

Hatate scored the fifth for his second of the game to make it 5-1 at the end.
