Caroline Weir scored a late winner to secure a 1-0 win for Scotland Women in their international friendly against Northern Ireland.
A 78th-minute penalty from the Manchester City player was enough for Scotland to clinch victory in front of a crowd of 500 people in Belfast, after Christie Murray was brought down by Laura Rafferty.
Northern Ireland were playing their first game since their historic victory over Ukraine, which saw them book a place at Euro 2022.
Along with the hosts, Scotland rested a number of key players. Stuart McLaren’s side will be back in action against Wales in Llanelli on Tuesday.
