The big boys have entered the Scottish Cup as the road to Hampden picks up pace.

But there will be plenty of lower league sides out to claim a scalp on Saturday as ties take place around the country.

Hearts travel to a junior side with a knack for causing an upset in the shape of Auchinleck Talbot, while cup holders St Johnstone face a daunting trip to League Two leaders Kelty Hearts.

Celtic are no stranger to a banana skin and will be wary of visiting Alloa Athletic, as will Raith Rovers of North Super League side Banks O’ Dee.

Here, in pictures, we look back at some of the most famous Scottish Cup shocks of them all.
