As well as trying to reach League A, the competition provides a potential route into Euro 2024 via play-offs.
Republic of Ireland will visit Glasgow on Saturday before Scotland travel to Poland to take on Ukraine again in their final game on Tuesday.
Steve Clarke’s men will need a decent haul of points to finish top of the group.
