Kirk Broadfoot and Kyle Lafferty will be leaving Kilmarnock following the club’s relegation to the Scottish Championship.

They will be joined by Greg Kiltie and Mitch Pinnock with several other players’ futures still up in the air.

The club say their recruitment drive has been “ramped up” following the news of the departures.

Broadfoot, 36, made 120 appearances over two spells at Rugby Park and Kyle Lafferty scored 13 goals in 13 games after joining in February.

Calum Waters is set to sign fresh terms with Tommy Wright’s men while talks remain ongoing over a deal for veteran winger Chris Burke.

Young players Tomas Brindley, Kyle Connell and Curtis Lyle continue to be in discussions over new contracts.

Kilmarnock were relegated after nearly 30 years in the top flight following a play-off defeat to Dundee last month.

Last week they also revealed that captain Gary Dicker was leaving the club as was Clevid Dikamona, Aaron Tshibola, Youssouf Mulumbu, George Oakley, Diaguely Dabo, Nicke Kabamba, Danny Whitehall, Danny Rogers and Ally Taylor.
