Motherwell have accepted a bid of more than £1m from Hull City for forward James Scott, STV has learned.
The 19-year-old is currently travelling to England to finalise his move to the Championship side.
The Steelmen, who previously turned down a £750,000 bid from Hull for Scott, could pocket a total of £1.5m based on add-ons.
At his press conference on Friday, Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson confirmed there was interest in the player.
He said: “It’s a difficult one, because you have to be fair to everybody. We sell ourselves on developing young players and selling them.
“We do it terrifically well. If you hold them back from life-changing money, it’s very difficult to keep players happy.
“There has to be a parameter that works for everybody – for the club for the right money and the player.”
