Partick Thistle claimed their fifth straight Scottish Championship win as Tony Watt’s early goal saw off Queen’s Park.
Mark Wilson’s side took all three points with a 1-0 victory at Lesser Hampden on Tuesday night.
They haven’t lost in the league since an opening day defeat to St Johnstone at the start of August and have 16 points from their first seven games.
Watt headed home a Logan Chalmers’ cross to put the Maryhill club ahead after just seven with what turned out to be the game’s only goal.
Thistle looked to extend their advantage minutes into the second half when Tsoanelo Letsosa fired wide.
Queen’s Park had chances for an equaliser when Josh Fowler had an effort blocked before Seb Drozd’s header flew over the crossbar.
Watt was denied a second in the closing stages by goalkeeper Calum Ferrie but the visitors had done enough to move second in the table.
The win moves the Jags up to second place in the table, six points behind early runaway leaders St Johnstone but with a game in hand.
Queen’s Park are in eighth place with seven points from their first eight games.
