St Mirren goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky is among eight out-of-contract players leaving the Premiership side.
Hladkly will leave the club with immediate effect, as will midfielder Oan Djorkaeff.
The Czech Republic stopper declined an offer to remain at the club and will now pursue options elsewhere.
Stephen McGinn, Danny Mullen, Gary Mackenzie, Ross Wallace, Tony Andreu and Cody Cooke will be retained under the furlough scheme before leaving the club.
Six academy players have also been placed on furlough at the Paisley club.
St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin said: “It has been really difficult to have to say goodbye to these players especially in the current circumstances.
“However, the opportunity to support the players through the close season is one the club felt was important.
“It goes without saying that everyone at the club wishes all of them the very best for the future.”
