Former Rangers star Scott Arfield is to take charge of Livingston for the final three games of the season.
It comes after the Lions confirmed first-team head coach Marvin Bartley, along with assistant Neil Hastings, resigned with immediate effect.
Livi’s relegation to the Scottish Championship was confirmed at the weekend.
A press conference due to be held on Thursday was cancelled at short notice.
Arfield, who signed for the West Lothian club on a deal until the end of the season in January, will take charge of the final three games.
Livi face back-to-back trips to Dundee and Dundee United before ending their campaign against Kilmarnock.
A club statement read: “We thank Marvin and Neil for their efforts and commitment during a challenging period for the club, and we wish them well for the future.
“Scott Arfield will lead the team for the final three matches of the season, supported by an interim coaching team.”
