Sean Kelly has signed a short-term deal with Dundee until January 2025, subject to international clearance.
The 31-year-old defender started his career at St Mirren then moved to now Sky Bet League Two side AFC Wimbledon in 2016 where he spent a season before moving back to Scotland with Ross County.
He subsequently had spells with Falkirk and Livingston before moving to Cypriot side Karmiotissa in the summer.
Kelly, the elder brother of Rangers goalkeeper Liam Kelly, returned to Scotland from Cyprus as a free agent and played 90 minutes for Dundee’s reserves in their recent 3-2 victory against Falkirk’s reserves.
His addition comes after manager Tony Docherty revealed defender Clark Robertson will be out for a number of weeks after picking up a thigh injury against Hibernian, although he is targeting a return for the Christmas period.
