Robby McCrorie has completed a move from Rangers to Kilmarnock, signing a two-year deal with the Rugby Park club.
The goalkeeper travelled back from Rangers’ pre-season training camp in the Netherlands after an undisclosed fee was agreed between the clubs and he has now put pen to paper to join Derek McInnes’ side.
The 26-year old came through Rangers’ youth system and played for Scotland at every youth level up to Under-21s, as well as being called up to the senior squad.
He found first team football hard to come by at Rangers, with Allan McGregor and then Jack Butland ahead of him in the pecking order, with Liam Kelly’s arrival at Ibrox after leaving Motherwell adding to the competition.
The goalkeeper has had successful loan spells at Berwick Rangers, Greenock Morton, Queen of the South and Livingston.
McCrorie will now look to establish himself at Rugby Park as Kilmarnock look to build on last season’s fourth-placed finish in the Premiership, as well as progress in Europe.
