The Green Brigade will return to Celtic Park for this weekend’s Premiership clash against Livingston.
The group had been banned by the club over a series of safety concerns and “unacceptable conduct” in recent weeks but will be in their usual section for the game on Saturday.
Celtic confirmed the move on Friday following meetings with members of the “ultras”.
A new safety code of conduct has been agreed that will allow the Green Brigade back to their usual place in the north curve of the stadium.
A spokesperson for Celtic said: “Following consultation with the group, the club has now implemented an updated Rail Seating Safety Code of Conduct which has been accepted by the group, allowing for a return to a situation where rules and regulations around operating safely are respected and complied with”.
In a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday the group set out plans for a march to the stadium that hinted of a potential return.
The reinstatement comes following Celtic’s first consecutive league defeats in a decade.
Brendan Rodgers side take on Livi on Saturday before travelling to Dundee midweek and hosting Rangers on December 30.
They are currently two points ahead of their city rivals at the top of the Premiership with Philippe Clement’s men having a game in hand.
