Ross County has accused a group of young fans of being “intent on causing problems” after a pyrotechnic was thrown during their game with Partick Thistle.
The Championship club say there has been unacceptable conduct at home matches regarding a small group of its own supporters.
On Friday, a youth was detained by stewards and handed over to officers from Police Scotland after a flare was thrown onto the pitch following the first goal in a 2-0 win over Partick Thistle.
Pyrotechnics are illegal in football stadiums in Scotland, and the club say it is “fortunate” no one was injured.
The Staggies vowed to work with Police Scotland to continue reviewing CCTV to identify other individuals involved.
A club statement read: “Our stewards and club staff continue to take a zero tolerance approach to unacceptable conduct, and any supporters found to be partaking in any behaviour which may affect the safety of others will be ejected, considered for a club ban and reported to Police Scotland.
“A small element of young supporters has emerged in recent times, intent on causing problems outside and inside the ground.
“This will not be tolerated.
“The club will continue to work with all supporters to create an enjoyable match day experience and create a positive atmosphere where safety is not compromised.
“Those who come intent on causing problems are not welcome.”
