Hearts and Hibs have both missed out on a chance to go top of the Premiership after a goalless draw in the first Edinburgh Derby of the season.
The game was played in a typical end-to-end fashion and both sides will be disappointed they never made the breakthrough.
The goalkeepers were particularly in fine-form and most to thank for the clean sheets.
Hearts had the majority of chances in the first half in front of a packed home crowd in Tynecastle but Hibs got back into it in the second 45 and forced a top-class save from Scotland goalkeeper Craig Gordon.
The point a piece means Rangers stay at the top of the table with both of the capital’s clubs in second and third respectively.
Hibs remain second- joint on eleven points with third-placed Hearts.
