Hearts are closing in on a return for Robbie Neilson as they look to replace Daniel Stendel.
Talks are ongoing between the Tynecastle club and Neilson’s current club Dundee United.
Neilson, who led Dundee United to the Scottish Championship last season, was head coach at Hearts between 2014 and 2016.
He won the Scottish Championship with Hearts in 2015 and finished 3rd in the Scottish Premiership the following season.
Neilson then left in December 2016 for a spell at MK Dons, before taking up his post at Dundee United in October of 2018.
