Hearts have completed the signing of Mihai Popescu from Dinamo Bucuresti.
The 27-year-old, who had a successful loan spell with St Mirren in 2019, has penned a two-year deal.
He will fly to Edinburgh shortly but will have to quarantine for two weeks upon arriving before he can begin training.
Popescu was a key player for Oran Kearney’s St Mirren side, who survived the drop by beating Dundee United in the 2018/19 Premiership play-off.
Last season he played 27 games for Dinamo as they got to the semi-final of the Romanian Cup.
