Hibernian have been successful with their push for more League Cup final tickets and have been allocated another 2000 seats.
The club was unhappy with the SPFL after being initially granted only 17,500 tickets by the SPFL for the match against Celtic at the national stadium.
Hibs had wanted a 50/50 split at the 52,000-seat national stadium, pointing at their previous attendance in cup finals though only 10,000 supporters had attended their semi-final victory over Rangers.
The initial allocation sold out, allowing Hibs to push the league body for more seats and they have now been successful.
A club statement read: “After constant discussion with the SPFL, we have been given just over 2000 extra tickets for the match that takes place on Sunday December 19, 2021; 3pm kick-off.
“As a club, we are happy that more of our supporters will be able to attend the game at Hampden Park and that our persistence with the SPFL paid off.
“We’d like to thank all supporters that have purchased tickets for the Premier Sports Cup Final, in what will be a day to remember for all Hibees.”
