The Israeli FA is confident is team will travel to play Scotland next month despite a second lockdown in the country.
Scotland and Israel are due to meet in the Euro 2020 play-off semi-final on October 8, with the winner going on to play Norway or Serbia for a place in the finals next summer.
The crucial match is to take place at Hampden and Israel are set to travel to Scotland for the second time in weeks after the sides met in the Nations Legaue in early September.
A second lockdown period has been announced by the Israeli government after a rise in coronavirus cases in the country, with restrictions beginning this week and raising question about the team’s readiness to travel.
However, the Israeli FA told STV that it does not expect any problems in fulfilling the fixture, with the mainly domestic-based squad to travel on a charter flight to Glasgow.
The country’s sports ministry is expected to maintain a protective bubble around the professional players as it did during the last international window.
The sides drew 1-1 at Hampden in the Nations League match on September 4. Ryan Christie put Scotland ahead before Eran Zahavi equalised for Israel.
