Ryan Jack is set to return to Rangers first team on Wednesday when Steven Gerrard’s side take on Kilmarnock.
The midfielder has been missing since he was substituted with an injury during Rangers’ 2-1 defeat to Hearts last month.
Jack has missed games against Ross County, Hamilton, Hibs and Aberdeen but Gerrard revealed he is now available for selection and could feature at Rugby Park on Wednesday.
However, the Rangers boss also revealed Borna Barisic is touch and go for the Premiership match.
“The last time we spoke we told you about Borna having a problem,” Gerrard said. “I think he’s got an outside chance for Wednesday night.
“He won’t train today. We’re going to try to give it as long as we can.
“He will probably have a late fitness test, so at the moment the best case scenario he’s 50-50 right now.
“Ryan Jack is available, however, which is fantastic news.”
