Full-back Jaden Brown is looking to kick-start his St Mirren career after signing a two-year contract.
The 25-year-old has returned to Paisley after making eight appearances on loan from Lincoln in the second half of last season.
The former England Under-19, Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday player told St Mirren’s website: “I’m buzzing to be back.
“I loved my time on loan here at the club last season. I didn’t get as many games as I wanted to but it’s important to be in and around good people and it was a successful group, qualifying for Europe.
“You want to play in the big games and play in the biggest competitions so it’s a great opportunity to showcase what I’m about. Hopefully I can come in and hit the ground running.”
Manager Stephen Robinson added: “I don’t think people have seen the best of Jaden. He arrived here without a lot of game time and towards the end of his loan we were really impressed with him.
“We had no direct competition for Scott Tanser at left-wing back so it was important we have that level of competition.
“Jaden can also play in numerous different positions further forward and on the right-hand side so he certainly strengthens our squad.
“It makes the fight for starting places harder for everybody which is how you progress.”
