Motherwell have completed the signing of Jake Hastie on a season-long loan from Rangers.

The winger returns to the club 12 months after he made the move from Fir Park to Ibrox, signing a four-year deal with Steven Gerrard’s side.

The 21-year-old will bolster Motherwell’s attack and look to regain the form that saw him impress with the Steelmen in the 2018/19 season.

Hastie scored eight times in 15 games before catching Rangers’ eye and moving to Ibrox.

The winger was loaned to Rotherham United last September and played 14 times for the Millers before returning to Rangers in January.

“I’m absolutely delighted to be back,” Hastie told Motherwell’s official website.

“I’ve been with Motherwell since I was nine years old. A year away has helped me grow even more as a player, but it’s also made me appreciate what the club does for me to help me develop.

“I’m fit and ready to go. I want to pick up where we left off just over a year ago and make an impact on the team scoring goals.”
