James Forrest is out of Scotland’s squad for upcoming Nations League matches against Croatia and Portugal.
The veteran Celtic winger – who was called up by manager Steve Clarke for Euro 2024 in the summer – won’t feature in Saturday’s fixture away to Croatia.
Forrest will also be unavailable for the clash with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal side on Tuesday at Hampden.
He last appeared in a competitive match for his country in 2021 and has 39 international caps.
Scotland are winless in Group A1 after defeats to Poland and Portugal in September.
