Teenage striker Bobby Wales will leave Kilmarnock to join Swansea City, the Ayrshire club has announced.
Wales will say farewell to fans following Kilmarnock’s final Premiership game of the season on Sunday before leaving for the English Championship.
Kilmarnock will receive compensation for a player who came through the club’s academy to establish himself in the first team squad.
“We can confirm that Bobby Wales will join Swansea City at the end of the season, subject to international clearance,” a club statement read.
“An undisclosed compensation package has been agreed with the English Championship side, and Bobby will say his farewells to our supporters after today’s match against Hearts.
“We’d like to place on record our thanks to Bobby who has worked his way through the age groups of our academy and departs with our best wishes.”
The 19-year-old made 33 appearances in all competitions this year, scoring five times.
