Kyle Magennis has extended his stay at Kilmarnock by signing a new deal at Rugby Park.
The midfielder has put pen to paper on a one-year contract that will keep him at the Ayrshire club until next summer.
The 26-year-old has made just 26 appearances across the last two seasons after being hit by a series of injury issues.
He has now put that behind him as he aims to make a mark under new manager Stuart Kettlewell.
When the new deal was announced on Wednesday, the former St Mirren and Hibernian player revealed he was “buzzing”.
He said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to get this sorted.
I’ve loved my time here so far. The fans have been brilliant with me and I feel right at home.
“The manager’s been great when I’ve spoken to him as well and I just want to push on again next season. We want to build on what we’ve done and keep moving forward.”
Kettlewell said: “We’re really pleased to keep Kyle at the club. He’s shown real quality and determination, and he gives everything to the club.
“His attitude is exactly what we want in this squad. I’m looking forward to seeing him push on again and help drive us on next season.”
